NARS Larger Than Life Long Wear Eyeliner

I love the twist-up style of this liner— it’s a great option for traveling. It also comes with a tiny sharpener, in case you want to get a more precise line.

Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Gel Eyeliner

Again, I love that this is a twist up pencil (you’ll notice I am a fan of this). I also love that it’s a relatively skinny liner, which allows for super thin lines.

Cattiva Waterproof Automatic Eye Pencil

Once again, the twist-up liners have my heart. My favorite thing about the Cattiva liner is that it has a gorgeous matte black finish.

Smashbox Limitless Eyeliner

The Limitless liner is a standard pencil requires sharpening. However, the formula goes on incredibly smooth. The creamy texture gives you a little bit of time to fix any mistakes or smudge it out before it locks into place.

Benefit They’re Real Push-Up Liner

People either love or hate this liner. I think the formula is amazing. I love everything about it. However, this liner comes with a bit of a learning curve. It is a twist-up gel liner, and the gel gets pushed out of the top. This can be tricky at first, until you get the hang of how much product you need and how much time you have to work with it. Benefit has a video tutorial for the push-up liner on their website, and I would definitely suggest watching it. Once you do get the hang of this product, you’ll notice that it has some really serious staying power. It is in the same line as Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara, so you will need an eye makeup remover to take it off.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

I absolutely love how smooth and creamy these pencils are. They come in a ton of colors and finishes, and I own more than I’d like to admit. These liners allow you to work with the formula a bit, and smudge it out. However, once set, they stay.

Note: If you’re a fan of Urban Decay liners and are looking for a good dupe, NYX Slide On Pencils are great. They are incredibly creamy, and really do slide onto the eyelid without tugging or pulling. Plus, they have some serious staying power!
